This place makes some really delicious authentic Mexican homestyle food. If your idea of Mexican food is Taco Bell, you won't find it here. They have a wide variety of tacos, all fresh made and delicious, although my personal favorite is lengua (beef tongue). It is outstanding. Try it before you knock it. The tostadas and burritos are equally good. The tortas, Mexican-style sandwiches, are large, packed with great ingredients and very filling. Try the excellent quesadillas filled with squash blossoms also. A side order of rice and refried beans is sizable and very good. The menu is really quite extensive. If it's a weekend, ask about any specials they may have, especially the soups. I believe they have a couple of tables, but I have always used the delivery service which is convenient and reasonably prompt. The food always arrives well packed. Order a bottle of Negra Modelo, too. It is a rich, dark but not bitter, Mexican beer and a great accompaniment for this food.
